The 'sunshine coast' has earned its name with its claim to have the greatest number of guaranteed sunny days in Europe, which accounts for its perennial popularity. The Costa runs for 300 kms and can roughly be defined as the area of coast between Gibraltar and Malaga. This is only a small part of one of the most eclectic areas of Southern Spain, Andalucia.
